Anna Foka
Anna Foka is an associate professor in Information Technology and the Humanities at Humlab, UmeƄ University (Sweden). Not only her academic background in archaeology, but especially her lively interest in current VR technologies including the integration of the game engine Unity in her own research work makes her a perfect fit for a constructive exchange of experience and views regarding our attempt to create a complex, archaeology related VR scene as well as a suitable tool to annotate within it, to discuss the practice of annotation and our current realization in VR as well as our aim to generate a scientifically relevant VR research framework applicable in such diverse academic fields like classical studies and antiquity, acoustic engineering or user experience and or interaction design etc.
